A very warm welcome awaits your Puppy or Dog at Puppy Dog Hotel. We offer an all round first class range of services catering for all ages and breeds, enabling your dog to appreciate a stimulating and fun holiday whilst enjoying a loving home from home experience. Our large client base extends across the UK from Lancashire to Devon and from all walks of life. Most of our customers return to us for their Holiday and Day Care on a regular basis and most of our new clients are by client or vet recommendations. We are of course Fully Licensed and Insured as you would expect and have been awarded the highest possible FIVE STAR rating by Buckinghamshire Council - DEFRA.

We always require you to visit us with your Puppy or Dog before we commit to anything. We can go on a short walk and this will allow us to assess your Dog or Puppy suitability to see if we can add them to our client list. More importantly it will give you, any family members and most importantly your dog(s) the chance to check us out too! Once we have completed an initial assessment future bookings for holiday or day care cover can be made by phone, text or email subject to availability.

It is our aim to treat your Dog or Puppy as if it were our own pet and give it the love, care and respect you would; your dog will stay with us in our family home and become part of our extended family. From our point of view all our guests over the years are as much our dog as their owners. We DO NOT use any host families like many other home boarding business services do. We do NOT have any kennels at the Puppy Dog Hotel. Research shows that many Dogs experience distress at being kenneled for a large part of the day. This can lead to continuous barking, clawing at the ground or the bars/wire of the kennel and accompanied by depression. Depression can lead to a low immune system which in turn leaves the Dog open to various infections such as Kennel Cough. Another problem many kennel owners face is spacing their time amongst the dogs in their care.

At Puppy Dog Hotel, as we only ever have a limited number of Dogs and Puppies staying in our home (as per our license) we spend a large amount of time with them giving them love, care and exercise as you would at home. Our guests are normally asleep around our feet if not playing with each other.

We are located within the beautiful Chiltern Hills within an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB). We have Enchanting Woodland walks, Sweeping Meadows & Rolling Fields on our doorstep the Dogs are walked at least twice daily for between 30-60 minutes for each walk as they require. Of course a young puppy will be walked more frequently for shorter periods to take into account skeletal, joint and muscular development. Some of our regular canine friends are now quite elderly and again walks are tailored to the individual need. When walking we NEVER walk more than two dogs per person, you only have two hands and the dog or puppies safety is the most important thing. With us the dog is respected and treated as part of the family from the moment they arrive. We will of course allow the dog the freedom they experience with you in your home. We will also follow the dogs normal sleeping habits. For example in a Dog Crate, Kitchen, Own Bed etc. Although Puppies and Dogs will not be allowed on family beds!

Our general boarding service does not include any Training although this is an available option. You can board a Dog or Puppy for as little time** or as long as you like subject to availability and our current T&C’s. Remember in addition to our premier boarding and day care Puppy Dog Hotel also offers a large range of first class services for your dog, puppy and pets. ** Minimum periods exist during some weeks.

The following applies to dogs or puppies that are staying with us for at least a minimum of 7 consecutive nights: we provide clients with e-mail updates, videos on our You Tube channel of your dog or puppy whilst you are away, we will also present you with a basic report of your dog or puppy during their stay. In Addition we will provide a free ‘Home’ DVD with a few moments featuring the fun and games (training if applicable) of your dog or puppies holiday and some photographs*

Copies of any images taken of your dog or puppy will be available for you to purchase if you wish.

We are happy to administer any prescribed medication that may be required and tend to any special needs our guests require. Over the years we have had dogs who sadly have long term or serious illnesses that require little extra bit of TLC and an extra kiss and cuddle along with their medication.

All Dogs and Puppies that stay at Puppy Dog Hotel must be fully vaccinated including kennel cough as required by the local licensing authority. This helps to provide the very best protection that everyone's pet deserves. Under NO circumstances will we accept a Dog or Puppy onto our Premises for Holiday Cover, Residential Training or Day Care that has not been fully vaccinated. Dogs and Puppies may visit for assessment only if they have not had the Kennel Cough Vaccination.

Due to our long experience in socialising and training UK Assistance Dogs, our growing customer base nationwide, and our accreditations by Buckinghamshire Council, Pet Industry Federation, several Veterinary Practices across the Home Counties and London, Chiltern Chamber and Buckinghamshire Business First. It is advisable to book well in advance to avoid disappointment but always worth a phone call in case there have been any cancellations.
