General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is being enforced across Europe on 25th May 2018 and affects all European people (even after our European departure this will still apply!). Due to this we have set out a policy detailing how, why and when we will use your personal information. Please see below for more information.

This means that we are unable to contact you about available dates, confirmation letters, payment reminders/receipts, special offers, events, latest news, vaccination reminders, pictures/videos or birthday and Christmas cards and gifts unless you have previously asked us a specific question regarding the above, we have to seek consent from you to do this. We will keep a record of when and what you have given consent to.

How we store and how long we keep your data/information:

What data we collect and use:

Puppy Dog Hotel collects data/information in accordance to the terms of our license governed by Chiltern District Council, Insurance and HMRC. We collect information on your dog/pet and your personal information; name, address, e-mail, telephone numbers and family member’s names as well as third party and vets details

Puppy Dog Hotel NEVER keeps any payment information for any clients.  

Why we need personal data:

As we are fully licensed by Chiltern District Council, insured and are regulated by HMRC we are required by law to collect and store data/information on both your dog/pet, on you and any third parties.

Puppy Dog Hotel will NEVER pass your personal information to any third parties, unless in the event of Vital Interest in your dog/puppy or pets life (e.g Vets) or in accordance to licencing legislation from Chiltern District Council, insurance in the event of a claim and HMRC.

Puppy Dog Hotel is governed by the Licencing of Chiltern District Council and a requirement of this is to have a third party contact and vet details in the event of emergency. By accepting these terms you are confirming that you have consent from these third parties to pass their personal information on to us, for us to hold ‘on file’ (see above) for when we may use this.  

Puppy Dog Hotel aims to offer a prestigious service and to enable us to continue this service we require your consent to enable us to contact you after the 25th May 2018 with regard to dates, special offers, events, pictures/videos or birthday and Christmas cards and gifts.

We may contact you through various mediums; post, e-mail, in person, telephone calls or messages and social media.

If you wish to opt out in the future, please contact us using the e-mail below detailing your name and address. Please note after opting out you will not receive any correspondence from us; however some data/information we are required by law to keep in accordance with Buckinghamshire Council terms of licence, DEFRA, Insurance and HMRC.

  • Puppy Dog Hotel does not store or intend to store any credit/debit card numbers or any other financial details.
